Unsure how to describe my holidays so far. Tabulating hydro graphs onto excel sheet, own time own target at home. Easy but tedious. Left with another 2 yrs, no motivation to continue...

Year 2 Sem 2. Results were ok but not as what i aimed. Rather humans can never be satisfied with what they have. Managed to pass with at least C. As expected, environmental microbiology is that one with that only C. Thank God it was slightly better than a scrap-off pass. My cGPA now dropped by 0.02. Really hope that it does not drop any further.

Been applying for students. Just recently, a tuition agency called me and ask if i want to tutor a primary 5 girl. During June holiday that someone wants tuition. In me, i was thinking, 'that girl must have done badly for mid year'. For the first lesson, i went to her house. Was wondering how should i respond to the parent after i press the door bell. ' hello, i am belinda, i am here to give tuition for...' Managed to reached the house just in time. Mother and daughter were already waiting for me at the gate! mum ask, 'are u the new tuition teacher from..'. After checking my cert and student pass, she did some tuition introductory, followed, she turned to the daughter and said ' dinise, introduce yourself'. 'Hi, my name is dinise, i am primary 5 this year. I am studying in CHIJ'. Seriously i was shocked. Is this the normal procedure where kids introduce themselves to strangers, i don't remember myself doing so when i was at that age. In addition to that, she did not stand near her mum, rather, i was in the middle. Her mum lead me to dinise's room. Her mum showed me her science paper. 73%. Went through science with her as i asked her for her weakest topic. She said water. She showed me her textbook so i went through the whole chapter with her. Whenever she asked me some tough questions, i just blar. Her response was 'Huh? i dont understand'. She wants you to explain until she understands. From her response, it is not as though she was weak at all. Next was math. She handed me some june holiday homework. OMGosh, a typical guess and check question, using algebra would be faster. I asked her if she knows algebra. She said abit. I tried explaining the question in algebra method, she UNDERSTOOD. She was able to re-explain the whole chuck to me after that. A question which i took awhile to figure out, in 1 min or so explaination, she understood. She's really smart. After tutoria, she was not tired, instead she was still able to ask me sensible questions and still have the energy to learn. Primary 5 girl? u are more like a secondary 4 girl sitting for o levels. Not a feeling of tired, restless or mischief. Very well disciplined. I feel stress instead. after that her mum asked ' how's her math?' 'how's her science? why did she did so badly for her science? what is actually wrong with her science?'. I blarred something. But at the back of my head, i was like '73% still not enough?!, badly??'. What??!!. seriously i do not want to teach her up to PSLE. Before she goes for the exam, i would have gone crazy due to stress from her mther. she is already so good and so mature, parents expectation is definitely over the limit. I really pity her. After that lesson, i really think alot.... have i wasted 6 years of my life waiting for time to past every time at tuition? Am i dumb?? is this suppose to be the way for a pri 5 kid???. I hated tuition, she have so much interest in books... omg please tell me.
