24th January 2009, was kicked up from bed by my mum at 4.30am. The drive on the expressway was kinda expected. People like us going into malaysia trying to avoid the jams by travelling early. The jam was about 3-4km from the singapore custom by the time we reach there. My dad was taking the wheels. Experience in driving in Jakata for so many years, doing stuns is quite normal for him. Like the previous time, we cut the long long queue and save alot of hours. Cars at the back horned = IGNORE.. Malaysia custom jam is insignificant as compared the singapore one. We reached malacca at 8.30am. Went to eat our breakfast - Tim Sum. Enjoyed every mouth of it. So satifying!! Next we went to our hotel, Check in time wassuppose to be 2pm. Thinking of settling our check in forms 1st but quite happy when they said that the room is ready and we can go in now. Baggage problem settled. Went to the shopping centre beside our hotel to shop. Me and my sis combed almost all the shops in the building. I bought 1 pair of slipper, 1 pair of shoe and wallet. After dinner at a Jap restaurant, my cousin chio us go sing k. My throat is quite sore before the singing. From 8pm to 1am. Monotonous singing, coughing, super low tone, cannot hold my breath for too long. Bad Bad Bad.. felt a lump in my throat after the session, voice totally off. Kept coughing through the night, unable to sleep until 3plus am. Ate 2 different kind of cough medicine. Supposingly to be consumed only 1 type but cannot tahan at that point of time. Haha.. no disasterous effect...phew
Chu xi, my family went to eat in a chinese reatuarant. Sharks fins +++ = Rm129. :) Cheaper lots than singapore. Realised most of the workers are vietnamese. Quite pittiful having to work when most of their friends are on holiday. Throat is getting no better so drove around the vicinity to look for medication. Went visitation in the evening. My father, brother, sister and me went to play in the playground near a relative house. typical but cannot be found in singapore type of playgroung.. sand grass soil... see-saw, swing...Had lots of fun there. 4 of us trying to balance on the seesaw, to achieve equibilium Swinging on the swing although i am always the lowest swingER. Took lots of photo. Would be best if my mum was there too. Planned to go for the count down at jonker's walk but seems like my throat is not doing good plus we're abit tired so activity cancelled. Just hope the lumpy feeling in my throuat will disappear tml.. Dun feel like wasting money to the doc again. Haha... 5 more mins left before my internet goes off.. Home is still the best..
